Shradhanand K. Yangad
Shradhanand Kisanrao Yangad was born on 07th June 1941. He was a seventh child of Kisanrao Yangad.
Though he was a seventh in the family, he provided very strong and sacrificial leadership to his family in such a way that he is always referred to as ‘Dada’ meaning elder brother by almost all of his siblings, relatives, and everyone else. Even his children call him ‘Dada’.
From his early adulthood, he is always, rightfully present in almost every relatives’ happy and sad occasions regardless of weather and season.
He married a nurse, Chitra Athawale (BD 13th May 1939) on 02nd January 1969 at Christ Church Jalna. Rev. K. S. Gaikwad solemnized their marriage.
He studied his 1-4th standard at Buldana. His 05th-grade education took place at Khamgaon and 6-7th standard at Morshi. 8-10th standard at Bakliwal High School, Washim. From 11th to B.Com. at Deogiri College, Marathwada University Aurangabad.
During 1960-65 he worked at a Primary school as a teacher in Pandhri Pimpalgaon, and as a headmaster in Kachner where the school had standards 1-7th. These were government schools in Aurangabad District, and his salary was 80/-Rupees per month.
He was able to complete one year of primary teacher’s training (D.Ed.) in 1963-64 from Vaijapur.
Due to severe social discriminatory treatment up to life attack, he left his teaching job. That was an answer to his prayers. The Lord Jesus Christ granted him a job at (MSEB) Maharashtra State Electricity Board.
He started working with MSEB in 1965 as a Jr. clerk (LDC) and his salary was 110/-Rupees per month. This he began at Latur and remained there till 1970. Yangads possess natural leadership abilities. He used to help other workers and voice their opinion and even stand for them for their rights. He automatically became a workers’ leader and served there as a union leader. Later on, he got transferred to Aurangabad and resides there to date.
In spite of lots and lots of hardship in life, today, Mr. Shrahdhanand says, “I am very happy and content today, the Lord picked me up and forgave me my sins and blessed me and my entire family.”
They both are very strong believers in the Lord Jesus Christ and have brought up their Children in a very disciplined and Godly manner. They have three children. All are married and they have three grandchildren.
They all attend City Nazarene Church in Aurangabad.
Their Children are:
1. Dr. Seema Prashant Tidke (BD- 22nd August 1971). Dr. Seema has earned her DHMS from Aurangabad and she has a clinic in Aurangabad. She is married to Mr. Prashant Anil Tidke.
They reside in Aurangabad.
2. Anant S. Yangad (BD- 23rd March 1973). He is married to Vaishali Vasant Lonan (BD- 12th August 1976) on 25th January 2001 at Deshpande Memorial CNI Church, Pune. Rev. Kedari solemnized their marriage. Their Children are Ashish (BD- 02nd May 2006) and Rashmi (BD- 07th September 2013). They reside in Aurangabad.
Vaishali is a very hard-working young lady. She has earned M.A. in English, B.Ed. from Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad; Diploma in Software Engineering from APTECH Institute, Pune. She works as a teacher in Aurangabad.
3. Shilpa Reuben Manmothe. Shilpa is married to Reuben Subhash Manmothe. They have a son Joel. They reside in Sydney, Australia.
