Almost any existing Yangad or a relative as well as friend will certainly receive a call early in the morning on his or her birthday from Mr. Harshanand K. Yangad. His prayer book is full of birthdays. If one received a birthday wishing call from him, that means the person is prayed for on that day for sure.

Harshanand K. Yangad is a thirteenth child of Konduji and Geetabai Yangad. He was born on 23rd August 1948 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Washim.

He was married to Jyoti. She was an excellent teacher.

After earning his collage education he earned a Diploma in Medical Technology (Lab Technician) worked in B. J. Wadia Children Hospital,Parel, Mumbai from 1969-71.

From there he got an opportunity to go to Bihar. He served at St. Columbus Hospital as In charge of Pathology Section from  1971- 1972. He worked in Bihar for 28 years. Due to Mrs. Jyoti’s health issues he took voluntary retirement and returned to Maharashtra.

He ran a private pathology lab at Chikhli and Aurangabd during 1996-98.

Then he was invited to serve at Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Washim as a Section in charge of Pathology from 1999-2004.

From Washim he went to Yavatmal and served as a Bursar (In charge of Account Section) 2005 – 2008 at Yavatmal Collage for Leadership Training (YCLT).

On 19th April 2012 while returning by a bus from Aurangabad to Yavatmal, Mrs. Jyoti suffered a sever heart attack and went to be with the Lord.

Right now he is pursuing his M.Div. from Union Biblical Seminary, Pune.

Mr. Harshanand is a very organized person and a man of discipline. He is also very courageous person with a very generous heart. Several students who studied in Bible collage have received a very regular support from him throughout their three or four years.

Their Children are:

1. Jayesh (BD- 10th April 1974). Jayesh has earned M.Sc. in Bio Chemistry with distinction as well as M.Th. from Dallas Theological Seminary, Dallas, USA.  He is married to Dr. Rani Pimplekar. They have three children Reuel, Lavanya and Ayanraj. Jayesh is a Minister of the Word of God. They reside in Aurangabad.

2. Sandesh (BD- 02nd November 1977). Sandesh has earned his M.A. in Economics as well as B. Ed. He is married to Roslyn Valvi. Roslyn has her M.A. and B.Ed. They have a son, Tanmay (Yash). They reside in Nandurbar where Sandesh is a Pre-primary department head of SAM School and Roslyn is a teacher at SAM High-school.
