Vidyanand (widely known as ‘Viddu’) was born on 26th March 1944 in RMH, Washim. He is a 12th child of Konduji and Geetabai Yangad.

His early education 1-7th standard took place in  Nazarene Mission School Chikhli. 8th standard in Balkilwal Highschool, Washim. 9-10th standard in Government Highschool, Chikhli.

After his tenth he started working  as a clerk in Umri Mission Hospital for one year in 1961.

In August 1962 Dr. Paul W. Yardi sent him to Miraj Mission Hospital for X-ray Technician (Radiographer) till 1964. After finishing his training he went back and worked as a X-ray Technician in Umri Mission Hospital till 1966. He shifted to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, Mumbai and worked there. He got married to Bharati (BD- 05th March 1946) a Nurse, on 10th March 1971 in Nazarene Church Washim. Their marriage was solemnized by Rev. Prabhakar B. Bhujbal.

In 1980 got an opportunity to work in Government Hospital Yemen from where he returned to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, Parel, Mumbai and as doors opened for him he went to Jordan in 1983 worked in Al Khalidi Hospital, Amman. In 1991 he again returned to Mumbai and worked in Arogyanidhi Hospital, Juhu for a year. In October 1992 went to Dubai and worked in Euro Health Clinic till 2005 and then returned to India.

Their Children:

1. Rachana (BD- 09th December 1971) – Married to Sanjay Godfrey Salins on 29th December 2000 at Open Bible Fellowship Church, Andheri (W), Mumbai. They have three daughters Thea also known as Anokhi (BD- 26th July 2005), Naysa also known as Ananya (BD- 31st March 2011) and  Norah also known as Anushka (BD- 09th May 2013). They reside in London.

2. Vaibhav (BD- 03rd December 1974) – was married to Sheetal on 18th September 2002. Sheetal has gone to be with the Lord. They have a son Amos (BD- 25th February 2004). They reside in Badlapur, Dist. Thane.

3. Gaurav (BD- 11th October 1985) – Married to Mrunal on 27th December 2008. They have a son Gresham (BD- 07th April 2011). They reside in Mumbai.
