Geet Sanjiv Yangad

Hi, I am Geet. I am a fourth generation Yangad. Son of Sanjiv Arvind Yangad and Monalisa Sanjiv Yangad. I am 13 years old.

I want to share a wonderful saving work that the Lord Jesus Christ has done in my life on 21st April 2016, around 4:00 pm.

My younger cousin Shruti had accepted Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior on 19th April. Then my other cousin Spandan also was led to Christ and he also accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. I was listening to their testimonies as well as reports of their parents as to how they made the decision. There was tremendous joy in the house over their salvation. This all was affecting me. I started thinking, what about me? Will I be left out? The Lord was knocking on the door of my heart.

On 21st April, I just couldn’t resist the Lord. I sat alone in my room and started praying. I accepted that I was a sinner and I needed to be forgiven by the Lord Jesus Christ. I asked Jesus to forgive my sins and as I prayed this prayer there was tremendous joy and peace in my heart.

I immediately left my room and went and told my cousins that I had accepted the Lord Jesus

Christ as my personal Savior. Shruti went and told Daddy Dada (Rev. Rajiv Yangad), he called me in his room, woke bhabhi (Mona Yangad) up from her nap. He spread his arms around me and congratulated me, my mom (Mrs. Monalisa Yangad) came to their room and Daddy Dada told her what happened with tearful eyes. We all cried and praised God. Daddy Dada called my Dad (Mr. Sanjiv Yangad). He was in Buldana with my Uncle (Rev. Nitin Saraf). My Dad talked with me, we both cried over the phone. He couldn’t hold his tears back.

In the evening as my grandma (Mrs. Shirin Yangad) woke up from her nap, I stood in front of her and told her that I was saved. She hugged me and cried tears of joy all over her chicks.

I praise God for his Salvation. I am sure that I am going to go to heaven and I want to lead many to heaven with me.
